We are working on a significant rewrite of our smart contracts, called Winding Tree Index. Our goal is to move to a more generic and open structure, part of which is the introduction of the OTA (Online Travel Agency) Index. We will cover the new design and naming conventions soon with an introductory article, we still need to work on some followup work in the rest of the platform and of course, proper documentation. For crypto fans, we also included the EIP-165 standard.

We are continuing to expand and make updates to our spam protection venture. Specifically, we are fleshing out the booking requests signatures. It still needs a little care, but it’s coming together nicely. We will have more updates on this in the future as it progresses.

Do you have something to add or would you like to ask about more details? Join our Telegram, any technical discussion should go to our Google Group. If you want to contribute, a good place to start is our GitHub and Developer Portal.

We’re also actively working on compiling technical challenges for our upcoming Lisbon hackathon — see current list here and for reference last hackathon hacks here. Join us in Lisbon to work on these challenges together!

You can learn more about the hackathon here. Whether you’re a developer or the business side of travel — we’ll be collaborating on the business cases and hacks together. Spots are limited and participation is curated, please apply here.
