Platform Launch

July was a big month for our team. We were thrilled to kick off the month with the launch of our platform on July 1st. A lot of hard work and long hours have gone into getting this to where it is. We are extremely grateful to those that have helped us along the way to get us to where we are now.

We were so honored to be able to talk about what we have been up to and show it off a little with our friends over at PhocusWire. You can check out the webinar here.

First Winding Tree Workshop

Blockchain is a new concept to a lot of people so we followed our webinar with a hands-on technical workshop on July 13th to show people how easy it is to get connected. We were excited to see such a large group of businesses tune into to check it out. If you missed it you can see it here.

Technical Developments

A lot of this month was focused on fine-tuning everything and getting it exactly where we want it to be. Some of those things were:

  • A Website refresh
  • Some UI updates to the Winding Tree Marketplace
  • Ironing out a few bugs here and there.
  • Strategy and planning for the rest of the year.
  • Beginning a security audit to ensure that our open source solutions are secure and that anyone can use them safely.

Platform Use

We spent a lot of time as a team following up with organizations who have shown interest in us over the past few years and letting them know things are ready to go. We spent a great deal of time engaging in walkthrough calls and offering technical assistance. This type of work will continue through August as we work with all of the interested parties wanting to get on board. A few numbers to consider:

  • We had 13 new organizations that created ORG.IDs to begin using the platform.
  • We completed 15 walk though calls to cover the platform in-depth with interested parties. We have many more scheduled for this month as news spreads of the launch of our platform.

User Feedback

We have taken this launch period to collect feedback to improve on everything we have offered. We have gotten feedback surrounding the unfamiliarity with using Metamask and are currently working on solutions to resolve this to make it easier for anyone who wants to join us can with ease. You can expect to see us provide more educational materials to ease any organization's ability to include blockchain-based technologies.
